In book four, the people have had enough, now standing up and fighting for their families, fighting to protect their communities, and fighting back against a corrupt federal government, but the revolt will not be without cost. In this final book of the four-part Reset series, the conflict is forced to come to a resolution, one which would either lead to a renewal of the country, or plunge it back into a civil war between those that were part of the original government, and those that were fed up with the corruption of those in the ruling class.

The government, while disbursing critical supplies, decided that this was an excellent time to consolidate power, and for one senator, the chance to lock in the presidency. An opportunity to bring the right-wing, anti-federal-government gun fanatics to heel. The government moved quickly to disarm the populace, using control of food and fuel as weapons, but things did not go quite as expected.
