She’s made a tidy little life for herself as the proprietor of the Weary Dragon Inn, where the most notable event is when she makes her famous rosemary bread.

It's the wedding of the year in Pigsend, at least if you talk to Vicky Hamblin. The bride-to-be is dead set on making her wedding to baker Allen Mackey the most perfect spectacle in the history of weddings, if only to impress her two snooty aunts. Bev's in charge of hosting them at the Weary Dragon Inn, along with a carefully-curated list of other family members, all designed to impress. But when things start going awry, and Vicky suspects someone might be out to sabotage her wedding, Bev's on the case once more. Can she find out who's out to get the bride before the big day?

Bev's on the hunt to understand her mysterious past, and that means a visit to her dear friend Merv. The six-foot moleman doesn't have the answers, but takes her to the secret, underground town of Lower Pigsend, thriving with all the magical creatures seeking refuge after the war. Upon returning to the Weary Dragon, Bev is confronted by sentries from the underground town. They accuse her of stealing a magical talisman that protects the town and—even worse—have threatened to arrest Merv for building a tunnel to the surface.

Firewing Investigations follows dragon shifter PJ Norris as he searches the land newly freed from an evil queen for more of his kind. Along with his best friend Grant, and a brand new amulet that unleashes the dragon in his mind, PJ sets off on a magical, cozy adventure – solving a few magical mysteries along the way.

PJ Norris continues his trek around Kingscountry in search of more dragon shifters. He and his best friend Grant arrive in the town of Cheshireville, which had a nearby secret magical enclave that safely hid creatures during the reign of the evil queen. But all is not well in the small town: a monstrous creature has been frightening the citizenry at night, and Firewing Investigations is hired to get to the bottom of things. PJ hopes this is the dragon shifter he's been searching for, but as he's learned, anything is possible in a magical town.

PJ Norris continues his search for more dragon shifters and arrives in the town of Padstow, a town full of magic-mining gnomes and the humans who've built an economy around catering to them. So when the mine experiences magical surge that throws the town into a frenzy, Firewing Investigations is hired to look into it in hopes they'll discover a dragon shifter.
