Covering the subject of hypothyroidism - an underactive thyroid gland - this book contains 17 chapters dedicated to the most common thyroid disorder that exists. All aspects regarding hypothyroid conditions are addressed in this resource, in easy-to-understand language. This book is approximately 12,192 words in length. The "Best Darn" reference in the title, is not to imply that this is an extensive medical journal but rather that the book contains all aspects of information on the subject that most laypersons would be seeking.

These same sources, including the U.S. National Institutes of Health have found that both CFS and FMS patients present with cortisol levels (the major adrenal stress hormone) that are lower than that of the healthy population.

In the chapters of this audiobook, I present information regarding common emotional conditions of "neurosis" and the less-common conditions of mental illness referred to as "psychosis".

Some Statistics including those by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) state that up to 25-million Americans suffer from asthma. That's approximately 1 in every 12 people or about 8.2 percent of the U.S. population. Asthma is more common in women than in men and is also more common among African Americans and Hispanics than in Caucasians.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia affect millions of Americans and many more worldwide. While a single definitive cause for these syndromes has not been found, factors involved in triggering them include chronic stress, nutritional and hormone deficiencies, post viral illnesses and mildly insufficient adrenal function. The debilitating fatigue and joint/muscle pain caused by these very real illnesses, can seriously reduce the quality-of-life for those who experience them.

The causes of an overactive thyroid gland can be varied but the most common cause is an autoimmune condition called Graves' disease. Complications can also occur with hyperthyroidism, including Thyroid Eye Disease, toxic diffuse goiter, hot nodules and myopathy of the muscles.

Some estimates by medical research groups state that up to 20 million Americans suffer from some form of peripheral neuropathy (PN) and this number is much higher when worldwide statistics are considered. A major reason for the rise in incidence for these conditions of damage to the nerves in the body that results in pain and dysfunction in them is the increase in cases of diabetes and pre-diabetic syndromes.

Through the 18 chapters this audiobook contains, I provide answers from a Biblical perspective, for many of the age-old questions regarding life, death, good and evil.

Hyperthyroidism is a term that simply means a person has developed an overactive thyroid gland. The metabolism of a person with hyperthyroidism is sped up from too much thyroid hormone in their system, so that everything in the body is running at overdrive. When this happens, the person will experience hyperthyroid symptoms. The vast majority of people with hyperthyroidism (95%) experience Graves' disease as the cause.

The majority of patients with both hypothyroidism (under-active thyroid) and hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) are experiencing autoimmune diseases that cause these conditions. When autoimmune thyroid disease results in hypothyroidism, the term for the disease is "Hashimoto's thyroiditis". When the autoimmune disease of the thyroid causes hyperthyroidism, it is called "Grave's Disease". Thyroid antibodies attack key proteins in the thyroid gland and in some cases, stimulate production of excessive amounts of hormone.

Over 100 types of PN have been identified, according to medical research organizations. This demonstrates the fact that each person will experience the physical results of damaged or diseased nerves, differently than do their fellow patients. Some people feel more of the burning sensation while others may feel very strong tingling that literally feels as if a colony of ants are stinging them simultaneously on their feet and/or legs. Some PN patients are affected exclusively within their feet and they may experience not only tingling and burning sensations within them but they may also feel stabbing pains as well.

Most of the general population is not well informed about a common condition affecting the liver, that affects an estimated 29 million people in America alone. Up to 6.5 million of these people, will go on to experience inflammation in their livers or what is also referred to as "steatohepatitis." Many will eventually experience cirrhosis in their livers, meaning scarring/lesions that will begin to appear within the organ, which is irreversible and that can eventually lead to death or in the need for a life-saving liver transplant.

There are many diseases that affect thyroid function, including those that cause hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid swelling (goiter), tumors in the gland (nodules), thyroid eye disease and thyroid cancer. This book looks at these conditions of thyroid dysfunction in some detail and the diseases that cause them including thyroid autoimmunity.

This resource is comprehensive from the biblical perspective, on the subject of an earth created by God that predates the one that was later created to be Adam's domain. Exemplary beauty in a young lady can be an intoxicating thing to young gentlemen. This is especially true when she catches the attention and intentions of a man who is so stricken by her that he is willing to give her anything but his blood. Some women with extreme beauty use their asset of attractiveness to glean expensive gifts from men and afterward they will throw them away like ordinary blokes, so that they can move on to their next victim. These type women are often referred to as gold diggers but sometimes the tables are turned.

According to reputable medical sources, there are more than 100 identified types of Peripheral Neuropathies (PN) that are experienced by between 15 and 30 million people in the U.S. and at least 130 million people, globally (statistics vary somewhat among sources).

Some authors on the other hand, are not willing to receive critical reviews of any kind, even those that are written in a straightforward, honest fashion but that include some strongly-dissatisfied language within them (something I have been falsely accused of complaining about). Anyone - and I do mean "anyone", who does not see that there literally are two extremes that exist within the author and reviewer arena, either are in purposeful denial or they simply aren't paying attention.

On a particular popular social media reviews site, where reviewers are allowed to classify books in their shelving options under terms such as “d**k head literature”, comments toward this very book, included my being told to “castrate” myself, my being called “an a**hole” and being told to “die in a dark hole”. I am only citing scant-examples and these type comments are far more reaching in the negative and offensive directions than I can even begin to convey (Hence: “Unfairly Unfavorable”).

Prophecy is one of the most interesting and intriguing subjects in the Holy Bible.
