• ACT ON SOMETHING | How to Change Your Life
    Jul 12 2026

What if the thing keeping you stuck isn't fear—but waiting?

This week, I'm reflecting on leaving my dream career, moving to a new city, and why I unexpectedly feel happier than I have in years. We talk about entrepreneurship, burnout, community, consumer culture, social media, and why taking imperfect action is more powerful than waiting for certainty.

If you've been wondering how to change your life, this episode is an invitation to stop waiting. Act on something!! I dare you. xx

    --

Topics covered on this episode include: entrepreneurship, career change, burnout recovery, taking action, community building, purpose, creative work, manifestation, self-improvement, and changing your life.

  • The Morning After
    Jul 9 2026

We all love a dramatic event. Obviously bitch.

But what happens next? What's it like to actually live inside of one of those moments? In this episode get ready to pay witness live, bc we are waking up, the morning after taking one of the wildest leaps of faith in my life to date, and surveying the (honestly?) wreckage of my decisions. There's something about fertile soil coming from scorched earth.... right?

    Inside this episode:

    • The strange calm that follows a leap of faith
    • Waking up in a completely new life
    • Why I'm trying to stop looking for an escape hatch
    • Action vs. overthinking
    • The psychology of irreversible decisions
    • Building a creative life with imperfect certainty
    • Making peace with backup plans
    • Recovering from optimization culture
    • Identity, reinvention, and being seen
    • Why I'm choosing authenticity over looking impressive
    • The freedom that comes from letting others think what they want to think about you (ex: you're embarrassing)

    • Thank you for listening! As always, extended show notes, bonuses, transcripts and extended accessibility options are available on substack. xx 🖤🍀

  • The Life I Want Wants Me Back 🐎🌠
    Jul 8 2026

After a short publishing break, V returns with a bonus episode recorded on location during a major life transition. Reflecting on missed deadlines, perfectionism, and the difference between commitment and flawless execution, she explores the idea of bringing "someday" into the present.

The episode follows a pivotal moment: choosing to let go of hard-earned stability in order to pursue an opportunity that could dramatically accelerate her creative future. Along the way, V unpacks fear, resilience, action, and the surprising realization that the life she's been dreaming about may be much closer than she ever imagined.

It's an honest conversation about compressing timelines, trusting imperfect action, and discovering that the biggest breakthroughs often come not from certainty, but from simply continuing to walk toward the life you want.

    This week we're talking about:

    • Why perfectionism isn't the same thing as commitment
    • What happens when "someday" becomes right now
    • Letting go of hard-earned stability to make room for bigger opportunities
    • Why action quiets fear better than certainty ever will
    • Compressing long-term dreams into much shorter timelines
    • Learning to trust imperfect, resilient progress instead of flawless execution

I'm recording this in real time, before I know exactly how everything unfolds. Think of it as a snapshot from the edge of a leap.

If you've been waiting for permission to start before you feel ready, maybe this is it.

    New episodes every week.

  • Burning the Boats - the dream via removing exit options
    Jun 15 2026

This week, we're recording on location and standing at the edge of a major life transition.

After months of planning, dreaming, and building in the background, I'm making a choice that removes some of my exit doors and commits me more fully to the creative life I'm trying to build. It's exciting. It's terrifying. And it feels a lot less glamorous than I imagined.

We talk about going all in, closing the gap between who we want to be and how we actually spend our time, and the surprising peace that comes from stopping the daily debate and simply committing to the path.

Plus: a small dating update, some reflections on momentum, and why I think the biggest obstacles in our lives might not be the ones in front of us—but the stories we've been carrying about what's possible.

Here's to taking the next step.

  • My Plan is Working, & I Feel Like Shit
    Jun 8 2026

This week is a messy one.

A short video unexpectedly takes off. The project starts showing real signs of life. A promising new crush enters the picture. A big transition is on the horizon.

By all appearances, things are moving in the right direction.

So why do I feel terrible?

In this episode, I unpack a week of anxiety, self-sabotage, missed goals, strange media rabbit holes, unexpected eating disorder triggers, creative frustration, internet doom, and the uncomfortable realization that I might be much better at surviving bad situations than sustaining good ones.

We talk about the pressure to stay informed in an age of constant catastrophe, the strange loneliness of pursuing work you actually care about, why criticism can linger long after you've stopped respecting the people who gave it, and what happens when success arrives before you've emotionally prepared for it.

It's vulnerable. It's rambling. It's probably more honest than is advisable.

But if you've ever found yourself overwhelmed by a life that is objectively improving, this one's for you.

    Thanks for being here.

    — V

  • The Grief of Becoming Visible - How Content Creating Changes you
    May 19 2026

This week, we’re talking about visibility grief, loneliness during reinvention, creator burnout culture, internet gatekeeping, and what happens when your project starts feeling real.

After seven weeks of posting, the numbers are finally moving: shorts are gaining traction, the YouTube channel crossed 5,000 views, and for the first time, I genuinely believe this might work.

But success doesn’t feel the way I thought it would.

In this episode:✷ why becoming visible can feel like grief✷ navigating unsupportive people and scarcity mindsets✷ the emotional reality of building a creative career online✷ why “slow growth” creator advice frustrates me✷ the shift from fear to conviction✷ loneliness, identity change, and learning to protect your energy

Plus: short-form experiments, YouTube milestones, boundary setting, and the realization that attention is not neutral.

Extended notes & HOTGIRL Homework available on substack.

  • I was at Zero 6 Weeks Ago. Now? 1K+ Views a Month.
    May 11 2026

ie: how to become impossible to ignore.

Six weeks ago, I was completely paralyzed by fear.

Now? I've gone from zero to over 1K monthly viewers. My channel is growing, strangers are finding my work, opportunities are appearing out of nowhere, and for the first time in a long time, building my dream life actually feels… good.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • why “going around the mountain” is often smarter than fighting gatekeepers head-on
    • the emotional reality of starting a creative career online from zero
    • optimism as rebellion in an algorithmically cynical world
    • YouTube growth metrics, early traction, and what the numbers actually mean
    • the psychology of identity change
    • why generosity creates momentum
    • the 100 rejection letter project
    • and the exact moment I realized this project might really work.

Also: Spotify roasted me for having zero listeners.

&&& someone I deeply admire found my work this week… and reposted it ♡
