• Episode Thirteen: The One Where We Get Naked
    Jun 15 2026

    Adam hid behind fig leaves.

    We hide behind everything else.

From Genesis to the Cross, the Bible tells one story: humanity running from God and God pursuing humanity anyway.

In this episode, we'll unpack Jesus' command to deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Him and why the self we're protecting might be the very thing keeping us from the life we're looking for.

The first Adam hid because he was naked. The last Adam hung naked on a cross so we would never have to hide again.

  • Episode Twelve: The One Where Idolatry Didn't Disappear...It Just Got Better Marketing
    Jun 1 2026

What if idolatry didn't disappear...what if it just got better marketing?

In this episode, we compare the idols of Scripture with the ones we still chase today. While most of us aren't melting gold and building calves, we're often just as willing to give our attention, affection, and trust to things that were never meant to sit on the throne of our hearts.

We unpack why humans keep repeating the same mistakes throughout history, how to recognize modern idols in our own lives, and why a genuine relationship with God is the only thing capable of putting everything else in its proper place.

And because no meaningful theological discussion is complete without it, this episode also contains an audible fart (because we're children) and an extended Fat Bastard impression that probably lasted longer than it should have.

  • Episode Eleven: The One Where Tradition Became the Gospel
    May 18 2026

This week we stepped directly into the minefield of church tradition. From the Pharisees and the Corban loophole to indulgences, veneration, worship wars, legalism, and modern cultural Christianity, we talked about what happens when traditions slowly become more important than the Gospel itself.

But before Protestants get too comfortable throwing stones at Catholics, we also held up the mirror to ourselves. Because every church tradition, denomination, and Christian subculture has the same temptation: replacing real heart-level obedience with outward performance and comfortable routines.

Somewhere along the way, many churches became experts at defending preferences while forgetting the actual mission Jesus gave us.

So we re-centered the conversation where it belongs:
    Jesus.
    The Gospel.
    Repentance.
    Grace.
    Communion with Christ.
And actually living out the faith instead of just inheriting it culturally.

Turns out the real enemy may not be tradition itself… but anything that quietly takes the throne Jesus was supposed to sit on.

  • Episode Ten: The One Where Nobody Told Me I’d Still Be This Bad at Being a Christian
    May 4 2026

I didn’t expect following Jesus to still feel like this much of a fight. We went in planning to talk about struggle and ended up saying the stuff most people keep to themselves. What it feels like when you keep falling into the same things. When getting back up feels exhausting. When you start wondering if you should be further along by now.

And yeah, we said it out loud. Sometimes it feels like prayers go straight to voicemail.

Not in a rebellious way. In an honest, “God, where are you?” kind of way.

We wrestle with that tension, believing He’s there while feeling like nothing’s changing. Holding onto faith while carrying the weight of unanswered prayers and unmet needs.

We don’t tie it up neatly. We don’t fix it.

But we do land here. Even if it feels like silence, we’re still getting back up.

If you’ve ever felt stuck, tired, or like you’re not measuring up, this one’s for you.

  • Episode Nine: The One Where We Almost Stay on Topic
    Apr 20 2026

Biblical friendship isn’t just grabbing coffee and calling it accountability. It’s costly. It’s honest. It’s the kind of friendship that shows up when things get messy.

In this episode, we break down what real, biblical friendship actually looks like—our responsibility to one another, why being rooted in the church body matters more than people think, and how iron actually sharpens iron (spoiler: it’s not always comfortable).

Also… somewhere along the way, we start singing, things get a little out of hand, and a hemorrhoid named Himothy makes an appearance.

    Yeah… just listen.

  • Episode Eight: The One Where a Man Steps Up
    Mar 30 2026

Episode 8 isn’t your typical conversation… it’s one that hits close to home.

We sit down with Devin Dowdy as he pulls back the curtain on what’s really driving him: faith, conviction, and a willingness to stand up when it counts. No fluff, no scripted answers-just an honest look at leadership in our schools, our community, and the political space around it.

If you’ve ever wondered who’s shaping the future locally (and why it matters), this is the episode you don’t skip.

Early voting runs April 20 through May 2, 2026. Pay attention… this one actually affects you.

  • Episode Seven: The One Where We Step Off In It
    Mar 18 2026

    Yeah… we went there.

In this episode, we step straight into the tension of politics and faith. No sidestepping, no pretending it’s not messy. What does it actually look like to engage in politics as a Christian without losing your identity in Christ? Is voting just a civic duty, or is it something deeper? And how do you hold to biblical convictions in a world that seems to reward outrage more than truth?

We talk about the responsibility of believers to stand for what aligns with Scripture, while also wrestling with the very real danger of letting politics become an idol. Because somewhere along the way, it’s gotten way too easy to trade the fruits of the Spirit for being “right.”

This conversation isn’t about telling you who to vote for—it’s about challenging how you think, how you speak, and how you treat people who see the world completely differently. Can you hold firm to truth without hardening your heart? Can you love your neighbor without compromising what you believe?

We’re not claiming to have it all figured out, but we’re not staying silent either.

So yeah… we step off in it. Let’s see what happens.

  • Episode Six: The One Where We Explore the Rabbit Holes
    Mar 2 2026

What actually happens when you stop skimming Scripture and start digging? In this episode, we riff through how we personally study the Bible, the questions we ask, the cross-references that send us down unexpected paths, and why slowing down in God’s Word changes everything. This isn’t a step-by-step lecture; it’s an honest conversation about learning to study, getting stuck, following connections, and letting the Bible explain the Bible. If you’ve ever opened Scripture and thought, “Where do I even start?” ...pull up a chair and explore the rabbit holes with us.
