  • “Holiest Man Alive” Going To Prison After Decades of Shocking Abuse

    70-year-old former revered spiritual leader Daniel Savala pleaded guilty Thursday for a “pattern of sexual exploitation involving multiple victims over time.” A number of his victims crowded the courtroom yesterday to give victim impact statements. Savala is accused of grooming and abusing boys and young men beginning in the 1990s, using scripture to convince his victims to undress, saying “nudity is unity.” What’s even more disturbing about this story, church pastors continued to send children to Savala’s home for guidance even after he was convicted for child sex abuse in 2012.
