This series does not disappoint at all - I tend to listen to them during my commute to and from work and this story is really immersive! The plot has got so many twists and turns, just when I was certain something was coming everything changed! Sarah J Mass really does know how to keep readers/listeners on their toes....carrying on with the series, determined to complete them all before New Year and then maybe listen all over again!!

Follow Aelin on her epic journey, it’s going to be bumpy ride but it’s worth it, every step of the way!

The book is good, but longer than I think is reasonable. Of course I'm not complaining because I plan to read the whole series either way and it saves me money that it's one book, but in my opinion it ought to have been two 10-hour books rather than one 20-hour book, or perhaps shortened a little as some of the content with the witches didn't seem especially relevant to Alen's story, which is our focus here.

Any book which can bring me to tears gets a perfect score and it did this. Lyssandra's story was particularly moving.
