The story

But Magnus has seen more than the betrayal of Horus – and the witnessed revelations will change the fate of his fallen Legion, and its primarch, forever.

I loved the way it showed Magnuses arrogance towards the power of the warp, and how the book progresses you also see Magnus ignore the laws put in place after the council of nikea. Gareth Armstrong is Also very good and portraying different characters through the use of his voice so overall definitely a 5 star book and definitely a priority read if you like the Horus heresy series.

The tragic tale of Magnus The Red and the Thousand Sons. Intricately written and in my opinion appropriately narrated and one of my favourite Horus Heresy books to date. As an aside if you are a HP Lovecraft fan there are unmistakable parrallels here to the sublime Cthulu mythos.

Epic tragedy subtly woven with Cthulu mythos.
