Vince Stone is an author, entrepreneur, retired library director, and stroke survivor whose writing blends honesty, humor, and resilience. After suffering a life-altering stroke that left him battling aphasia and the loss of speech, Vince refused to let the hardest chapter of his life become the final one. In his memoir, ReLearning Me: How I Fought Back from Stroke, Aphasia, and Loss, Vince shares his deeply personal journey through recovery, identity, family, faith, and rediscovering purpose. Known for his conversational storytelling style and self-deprecating humor, he writes about difficult subjects with warmth, realism, and hope. Before retirement, Vince managed public libraries in North Georgia. He holds graduate degrees in Marketing and Library Science from the University of Tennessee. When he’s not writing, Vince enjoys spending time with his wife Tena, his children and grandchildren, walking his Boston Terrier Gus, talking football, and hunting down a good lunch spot. He lives in the South and considers every day after his stroke a bonus day.
