Sloan Newman is a global marketing practitioner with more than 20 years of experience leading strategic Account-Based Marketing programs for complex enterprise organizations. He holds dual master’s degrees in International Marketing Communications and International Marketing Strategy and has worked across agency and in-house roles in the United States and Europe, including at Microsoft and MSL London. Sloan’s experience spans markets such as the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Brazil, and the Netherlands, supporting accounts generating millions in annual pipeline. He is currently part of an award-winning team that helped develop a strategic ABM framework for a top-three global Internet and IP services company headquartered in Japan. In addition to his professional work, Sloan conducted qualitative marketing research at the Foster School of Business, completed agentic AI training through Salesforce’s Trailforce, and has lectured at the University of Washington, Western Washington University, and London Metropolitan University. He also served as the youngest president of the Puget Sound American Marketing Association. He wrote this book to help marketers act as the “CMO of their ABM accounts”—owning strategy, relationships, and long-term growth beyond campaigns and metrics.
