Solomeen Montagueo was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. His passion for fantasy and storytelling began at an early age, inspired by works such as Spirited Away, Avatar: The Last Airbender, the Harry Potter series, and countless anime and video games. Growing up in a challenging Chicago neighborhood, with a father who was frequently in and out of jail and a single mother raising five children, fantasy became an escape, a place where imagination offered hope, adventure, and possibility. Those stories left a lasting impact and inspired a lifelong dream of creating worlds of his own. Today, Solomeen lives with his fiancée and high school sweetheart and has turned that dream into reality. Drawing from the stories that shaped his childhood, he now brings readers into imaginative new worlds through his writing, beginning with his debut novel. Solomeen believes there is a reason people are encouraged to follow their dreams, and through his work, he is doing exactly that.
