Rebecca S. Banks, co-author of two groundbreaking books, Bright Not Broken (2011) and The ADHD-Autism Connection (2002), is a longtime advocate and educator. Rebecca works with parents, educators,and healthcare professionals as a national speaker and trainer on Autism Spectrum Disorders, giftedness, ADHD, and learning differences. The mother of two twice-exceptional children, Rebecca's search for answers to help her children overcome their challenges and develop their abilities led to her life's work. As a public school teacher, university lecturer, and author, she has dedicated most of her time to helping parents and professionals understand and better serve bright children who think and learn differently.
