Preston Grassmann is a Shirley Jackson Award finalist. He began working for Locus in 1998, returning as a contributing editor after a hiatus in Egypt and the UK. His most recent work has been published by Titan, Nature, Strange Horizons, PS Publishing, Shoreline of Infinity, and Futures 2 (Tor). He is the editor of “Out of the Ruins”, published by Titan in 2021 and “Multiverses: An Anthology of Alternate Realities” (Titan Publishing, 2023). His forthcoming titles include “War in the Linear Heavens” with Paul Di Filippo, “The Astronaut Garden”, edited by Maxim Jakubowski, and “The Mad Butterfly’s Ball” (co-edited with Chris Kelso for PS Publishing). He currently lives in Japan, where he is working on a book of illustrated stories with Yoshika Nagata.
