Michael Ledwidge sold his first novel, The Narrowback, at the age of 26 to one of the most prestigious literary editors in New York City. His second critically acclaimed novel, Bad Connection, was optioned by George Clooney. He has written over a dozen New York Times bestsellers with the world's best selling author, James Patterson. The Michael Bennett series that he co-created is the highest selling NYC detective series of all time. Their novel Zoo became a three-season CBS television series. He recently resumed his solo career with the Michael Gannon series as well as stand-alone thrillers. Born and raised in New York City, before becoming a full-time novelist, Ledwidge worked as a deli man, a Park Avenue doorman, and a Manhattan telephone cable splicer. He currently lives in Connecticut. In his nonfiction debut, Read Your Mind™: A Storyteller's Guide to Understanding Stories and Yourself, Ledwidge reveals the Read Your Mind™ model — a simple three part framework that unlocks the signal hidden beneath every great story ever told. From Homer to The Matrix. From the oldest fairy tale in human history to the last film that sent you back into the daylight feeling more fully human. "Michael Ledwidge writing solo is even better than Michael Ledwidge and James Patterson." — James Patterson "An author who has mastered his craft." — Forbes "Ledwidge really knows how to tell a story." — Publishers Weekly Find the Read Your Mind™ community on Substack — search Read Your Mind with Michael Ledwidge.
