Michael A. Whitt is a retired U.S. Navy Captain who served more than 38 years leading sailors aboard submarines, aircraft carriers, submarine tenders, and forward-deployed operations around the world. Today, he is the founder of To Getting It Done Leadership, where he helps leaders, business owners, and nonprofit organizations reduce uncertainty, gain clarity, and take the next meaningful step toward their goals. Drawing on nearly four decades of leadership experience, Captain Whitt combines practical tools, memorable sea stories, and simple systems to help people lead with confidence, make confident decisions, and leave things a little better than they found them. Michael is a leadership coach, speaker, author of To Getting It Done, and longtime volunteer who has helped hundreds of nonprofit leaders strengthen their organizations through coaching and strategic guidance. He lives in Navarre, Florida, and continues to serve others through coaching, writing, speaking, and lifelong learning—always striving to leave someone, somewhere, or something a little better than he found it.
