L.E. Minx is an author by several names. In 2013, she began publishing Fantasy novels as Laura E. Thompson. In 2021, Minx published a true story about growing up with Epilepsy under her maiden name, L.E. LaBarge. Minx always follows her inspiration when writing and enjoys writing books that she would like to read, regardless of their genre. In 2023, Minx and her friend, author R.B. Michaels, created an editing company, Writer’s Journey Services. Some of their first clients were Romance authors. Minx hadn’t read Romance for a few years but soon remembered how much she enjoyed it. “There is a connectedness to romance. Love is a universal force that comes in many forms and is, therefore, understood by everyone. To write about it, you can connect to millions of readers, which is why I wanted to write it,” Minx says. In January 2024, Minx asked her friend, fellow author Timothy Robare/T.J. Fox, if he would co-write a Romance with her. She had an idea but thought it would be fun to write it together. Thirty days later, Mediterranean Waves was finished. It was the fastest Minx had ever written a novel. “The book flowed out of us so easily and quickly that I knew it was meant to be,” Minx says.
