I didn’t begin writing until I retired. I also waited until I was registered blind. Didn’t want to make it too easy! Sitting down in front of my PC, with screenreader loaded, the first book in the “New America” series just started falling out of my head. By the time I finished, it was two hundred and thirty thousand words long. The editors soon whittled that down, and “When America Sneezes was born. I live near Aberdeen, Scotland. Through Audible these days, I read regularly and love many genres. If I had to pick one book, it would be “War of the Worlds” by H.G. Wells. Before aspiring to be a failed writer, I was a failed musician, and music remains my first love. As a proud boring old fart, I listen to Yes, Genesis and Zepp as I write. You may find their influences in my books. The world of politics intrigues me. It formed the background of this first series, but please don’t let that put you off reading. It is only the canvas that the actors live out their lives against. I hope you enjoy the book.
