James Roberson – Author James Roberson writes novels that explore courage, loyalty, sacrifice, and the unbreakable bonds between people shaped by extraordinary moments in history. His stories span war, espionage, medicine, music, and family—always centered on characters who refuse to surrender to adversity. Roberson is the author of a 10-book catalogue of novels which include the June 3, 2026 release of Return to Carentan, a sweeping WW2 love story that spans five decades, from D-Day June 6, 1944 until the 50th anniversary of the D-Day invasion on June 6, 1994. His novel Broken Not Beaten, The Extraordinary Life of Dr. Kirin Torranz was released on March 13, 2026. Dr. Torranz's amazing medical career, which spanned three wars and incredible advances in medical care of wounded soldier, was profoundly influenced by her chaotic life during WW2. Roberson has also authored two books about music, particularly the rise of Southern Rock and Country genres. His first music book, Kings of Rock & Roll chronicles the lives of Billy and Eddie King whose band Kings Court teetered on the brink of national stardom. Eddie King, an African American musical genius, left the band to pursue a historic role in the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s. Billy King was forced to leave the band by the Vietnam War. Other band members, Mickey and Danny Prince and Phil Jester, made up Kings Court. Ultimately fame and fortune in the music world eluded the Kings, Princes, and Court Jester, but greatest in life did not. Deebo’s Warning is the story of Good Ole East Texas Boy Wyatt Jennings. Though a music genius and a born showman, Wyatt was short on self confidence and common sense. His mentor, music legend Deebo Rosser, gave him a warning--really common sense advice about the music industry. Wyatt, among other things was stubborn as an East Texas Mule. He chose to go his own way and ultimately it paid off. Other books in his 10-book catalogue include: Kat Davis Adventure Series: Revenge for 911, Goodbye Mr.Kang, and Finding Morning Son. Escape From Milltown, White Collar Mules and Ethan's Way. A centerpiece of his writing is the sweeping Family of Unholy Ghosts saga—an ambitious multi-generation series that follows families shaped by war, intelligence operations, and the hidden struggles that echo across decades. Roberson’s novels often blend real historical settings with compelling fictional characters, taking readers from the battlefields of Europe to the music scene of America, from quiet southern towns to international intrigue. His storytelling focuses on resilience—people who are broken by life’s trials yet refuse to be beaten by them. Through RedStang Enterprises, Roberson is building a body of work intended not only to entertain readers today but to leave a lasting literary legacy for future generations
