Dweck, PhD, author of Mindset, with whom she did postdoctoral work at the Harvard School of Education, Laboratory of Human Development. Her dissertation, published in a leading academic journal, has been cited over five thousand times. She has published papers and chapters with Dweck concerning applications of mindsets. Dr. Elliott-Moskwa also is a mentee of Aaron T. Beck, MD, considered the father of cognitive therapy, with whom she trained at the University of Pennsylvania. Furthermore, she served as a consultant to David Burns, MD, author of Feeling Good, during his tenure at Penn’s Presbyterian Hospital. She also helped to establish the cognitive therapy training program at the Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital. Her new book, The Growth Mindset Workbook translates the core principles of Dweck’s Mindset into a self-help workbook rooted in evidence-based techniques. It helps readers shed self-limiting attitudes and beliefs of a “fixed mindset” and replace them with a “growth mindset” that can increase resiliency, boost self-confidence, and form the foundation of a meaningful, life. In her private practice in Princeton, NJ she brings twenty-plus years of experience to help people shift from a fixed to a growth mindset. She collaborates with clients to move forward with personal, social, and achievement goals to lead a life they value.
