Debbie Miller is a retired registered nurse with over 30 years of experience in NICU, pediatrics, and adult gastroenterology. She is the author of Raising Ricky, a memoir about her lifelong promise to care for her brother with Down syndrome, who now faces Alzheimer’s disease. An advocate for both the Down syndrome and Alzheimer’s communities, Debbie has presented before the Florida legislature on research funding and related legislation, including the ASAP Act. Drawing from her professional background and personal caregiving experience, she shares a message of resilience, purpose, and navigating life’s most difficult transitions.
