After a long career inside banking and fintech, David turned to writing to explore the quiet compromises people make under pressure, and the consequences that follow. His novels are grounded in lived experience but driven by character, moral tension, and the fragile line between control and chaos. He is the author of Planted and Skim. His upcoming novel, Misconception, steps beyond finance to examine identity, immigration, and how easily the American dream can unravel when there is no safety net. Away from the keyboard, David is a private pilot, an avid (and passionate) soccer player, and a lifelong traveler. He and his wife, Sue, split their time between writing, exploring new places, and visiting family. They have two children and two grandchildren, who keep him grounded and occasionally distracted. David believes systems don’t fail on their own. People fail inside them.
