Darby Briar is an international bestselling American author who loves writing stories about men with broken souls and women who don’t know their own strength. She’s a lover of fiction and epic stories, but prefers stories with hard-won romance and ones that include an ending worthy of their struggle. She is the author of the Harbingers of Chaos MC Romance Series, a gritty yet heartfelt saga that blends contemporary romance with mystery, danger, humor, and a powerful sense of found family. Her upcoming romantasy series, The Huntress and The Four Horsemen, expands her passion for epic storytelling into a dark, apocalyptic world of immortal horsemen, prophecy, judgment, and forbidden romance. Darby grew up in Utah and still lives in the northern part of the state. She has three adorable mini adults, whom she affectionately refers to as her minions. She still to this day credits her grandma as a big influence on her love of romance dramas, since she grew up sitting next to her as she watched soap operas, and Darby distinctly remembers the “scandelicous” books sitting out in the open on her coffee table. When she isn’t writing, snacking while worldbuilding, deviously plotting emotionally ruinous scenes, or deep-diving into characters readers can’t help but obsess over, she’s visiting family, enjoying pool parties, or becoming so captivated by a movie that getting her attention is nearly impossible. She revels in art in all its forms, loves to travel, and is endlessly fascinated by discovering more of the world beyond her own backyard.
