Christina Harrison worked for the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew for over 21 years, including 12 years as Editor of Kew magazine. Using her background in ecology and horticulture, and a Masters degree in Garden History she has been writing books on trees and Kew's history since 2007. She is a Fellow of the Linnean Society, Royal Geographical Society, and a member of the Royal Historical Society and the Garden Media Guild and has won and been a finalist for several GMG awards. She is currently completing a PhD with Royal Holloway, University of London, in collaboration with RBG Kew.
