C.J. Canady writes Sci-Fi and Dark Fantasy stories. In 2023, I went through a period where my life shifted in ways I wasn’t prepared for. I lost my job, and with that loss came something I didn’t anticipate—my creativity. For a long time, I struggled to write, to focus, to even believe I could finish what I had started. There were moments where I thought my stories would remain unfinished. But somewhere along the way, something changed. The ideas came back. The excitement returned.
