Her horror screenplay for Zeeka and the Zombies II was selected as a finalist in the 13Horror-com Film & Screenplay Contest 2025. The Gift of Love, a romance/mystery, was selected in the Quarterfinals Stage 32 + DramaBox Screenwriting Competition in April 2026. LITERARY APPOINTMENTS 1. She was appointed by the President of CIESART GLOBAL as National President for CIESART [Cámara Internacional de Escritores & Artistas] Trinidad and Tobago, in 2022. 2. She founded the How to Write for Success Facebook Literary Forum in 2016 and has mentored countless writers, published anthologies, and magazines that uplift voices worldwide. She continues to champion literature as a force for good. Her leadership has provided a space where writers are not only creators but crusaders, using their craft to heal, educate, and inspire. 3. A Peace Ambassador for the Facebook group, LOGOS LITERATURE, and advocate against domestic and all types of violence and suicide, Brenda’s influence extends beyond the page. 4. She’s a member of Stage 32, connecting her to the global film and TV community, and continues to inspire through humanitarian work, literary leadership, and cinematic storytelling. 5.
