About the Author I was born on September 18, in the late 1940s, in Miami, at a time when the world itself was learning how to begin again. My childhood home was small—two bedrooms, one bathroom, and five souls learning how to live, love, and grow within its walls. With an older sister, Shirley, and a younger brother, Ryan, I found myself in the space in between… the middle child, quietly observing, feeling, and absorbing more than I could yet understand. Even as a young girl, I sensed there was something more to life than what could be seen. By day, I was a tomboy—running, playing, free in body and spirit. But at night, in the stillness, I would whisper the Lord’s Prayer, reaching beyond the visible world, searching for something I could feel but not yet name. Looking back, I see now that this was the beginning of my connection to the divine—a thread that would weave through every chapter of my life. I was known as “the friendliest girl” in junior high, but what I now recognize is that I wasn’t just being friendly—I was searching for connection, for recognition, for the feeling that we are all somehow linked. Even then, my heart was open, though I didn’t yet understand why. Life, as it does, unfolded in waves. I was married for eleven years and became the mother of two children—two souls who entered my life not by chance, but by sacred design. Together, we moved through places, experiences, and turning points that would shape me in ways I could never have imagined. There were moments of light and moments of darkness, times of clarity and times of deep confusion—but each one carried meaning, even when I couldn’t see it. Over time, I began to understand life as a series of “dots.” Like the childhood paintings where an image slowly appears as each number is connected, my life revealed itself piece by piece. What once felt random… wasn’t. What once felt like chaos… held a hidden order. Every person, every loss, every joy, every detour—each was a dot placed with intention. When I finally stepped back and looked at the whole picture, I saw something extraordinary: my life had always been guiding me. This memoir is not just my story—it is a mirror. Because we are all walking this path, collecting our own dots, searching for meaning in the spaces between them. Through my journey, I came to see how even the stars hold a language—how our astrological chart can reflect the deeper patterns of our soul, offering clues to who we are and why we are here. Consciousness is the doorway. When we begin to awaken, we notice the synchronicities—the moments that feel too perfect to be coincidence. We feel the gentle pull at the forks in the road. We begin to understand that what we call “intuition” is something far greater… a quiet knowing, guiding us home to ourselves. I did not always understand my path. But as I connected the dots, I began to trust it. And now, I offer this to you—not as answers, but as an invitation. To feel. To reflect. To remember. Because your life, too, is a masterpiece in the making… and every dot is leading you exactly where you are meant to be.
