Annie McCormick is an award-winning journalist and true crime author with more than twenty years experience in the news industry. Annie is a former on-air reporter for WPVI-TV , ABC’s owned and operated station in Philadelphia. During her time there she covered major breaking news, including the manhunt for escaped convict Danelo Cavalcante , the Idaho four murder suspect, Brian Kohberger’s capture, George Floyd unrest and the 2024 Presidential debate plus Governor Josh Shapiro’s role in the 2024 “veepstakes”. Prior to her work in broadcast television Annie was a freelance photojournalist for major publications, including "The New York Times", "The New York Post", and "The Philadelphia Daily News". She began her career as a White House Photo intern. Annie’s first book THE DOCTOR, THE HITMAN and THE MOTORCYCLE GANG was released in 2020. Her first historical true crime book, RESTLESS GHOSTS, was released in 2026.
