Amanda Bedzrah is an author, speaker, missionary, and founder of Empower a Woman Ministries, an international Christian ministry dedicated to encouraging faith, hope, and transformation through biblical teaching, practical support, and community outreach. Alongside her ministry work, Amanda is a senior NHS professional with more than twenty years of experience in leadership, programme management, public health, and service transformation. She holds a Law degree and is currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Kingdom Theology. She also serves as a Council Member of Churches in Communities (CIC) and as a Trustee of Westminster Theological Centre (WTC). Amanda’s passion for empowering others extends beyond writing. Through ministry and humanitarian initiatives across the United Kingdom and Africa, she has supported women in prison, widows, vulnerable families, orphanages, schools, and communities affected by poverty. Her work includes promoting menstrual health and literacy for girls and women, supporting dignity initiatives, and creating opportunities for education, encouragement, and practical care. As an author, Amanda writes across a range of genres including Bible-based fiction, devotional resources, Christian teaching materials, and practical wellbeing guides. Her writing is known for combining biblical insight, lived experience, and compassionate honesty, helping readers navigate faith, womanhood, healing, leadership, identity, and everyday life. Whether speaking from a platform, serving in communities, or writing from her own experiences, Amanda’s desire is to help people discover hope, embrace purpose, and grow in their relationship with God.
