Professor Theo Watt needs a suitable wife, or so his mother believes. His dazzling career as a naturalist leaves no time to find one, so he grudgingly defers to her matchmaking. Amidst a string of disappointing candidates, he unexpectedly finds himself charmed by a passing young woman who sacrifices her pretty dress to join him in the muddy rescue of a fish.
