Blind Girl Mysteries

My life had changed dramatically since my eyesight loss had progressed. I ventured to my mailbox on an ordinary day without my service dog, King; unaware of the threat to me and the blood of my neighbor still fresh on the murderer's hands. Sensing a presence, I called for King, then 9-1-1. I saw the murderer by way of smell, taste, hearing, and touch; my remaining senses heightened since my sight loss. King saw him, too. But who would ever believe a blind girl and her dog?

Clementine had fallen prey to an online predator, and failed to check in with her family on Sunday night as she always had in the past, stirring her family to action. The charming date wasn't what he appeared to be, showing a creepy familiarity with Tine and her habits, likes, and dislikes. Ending the date earlier than planned, she staggered to her blue Hyundai, hoping to get in and lock the doors. That was her last memory until she woke up cuffed to a bed frame.

The blind girl takes on her first cold case: a missing girl and her scrappy dog that had disappeared in the night from the prestigious area known as Sleepy Hill. The clues are lacking in the cold case file that was quickly retired in 1961.
