I efterdønningerne af den store nordiske rockerkrig udspiller en brutal magtkamp sig i Pusher Street på Christiania. Håndlangeren Danny bliver dræbt, og den psykisk ustabile Henrik skal pludselig indfri en gammel gæld, der tvinger ham til at sætte sit nye liv med job, kæreste og lejlighed på stand by. Arthur og hans far rejser sommerlandet tyndt som klovne i et omrejsende cirkus, og Arthur hader det! Han ville meget hellere ligge derhjemme og laese superheltetegneserier! Heldigvis er sommeren ovre, og skolen begynder igen. Det er både godt og skidt. Godt, fordi det han ser den smukke Josephine igen og skidt, fordi han faktisk bliver drillet ret så meget i klassen. Af selv samme grund har Arthur ikke fortalt et ord om sin klovneaktivitet til nogle som helst i klasse, og han er skaerkslagen for at blive opdaget.
