The previous devastating events inside of Tacca’s dungeon were only the beginning of a wider invasion of the continent of Abenlure. The death of so many Raiders inside of her arena at the hands of the Invaders would normally be a boon to the Fairy-turned-Core and the nearby Nursery Cores, but the attrition of the Raider Delving Clan’s numbers is worrisome. Especially when an unsettling discovery up to the far north will revise everything they know about the Interdimensional Beings that are invading their world.

Progen defeated the Parasyte that was engineered by the malevolent Blood Curse, but there is still a lot that the dungeon crystal needs to do to fully control his entire dungeon. The Blood Curse has locked itself away behind a barrier that keeps Progen from spreading his influence inside, while also preventing the Curse from manipulating anything outside of its hiding place.

Tacca GloomLily wasn’t sure how she had barely survived a sudden invasion by the mysterious and deadly six-armed, blue-skinned figures...but survive she did. After the synergy explosion that destroyed her Core, the dungeon fairy-turned-dungeon core needs to rebuild everything from the ground up. Being in charge of her own dungeon instead of just being an Assistant to a Dungeon Core was a unique experience for Tacca GloomLily, especially after her “bad luck” resulted in her soul being sucked into a Core. Thankfully, she persevered through the strange experience and created a dungeon that she knew Raiders would say was suitable for “beginners”, otherwise known as brand-new Raider Clan recruits.

The 575th Ranger Task Force, Raiding Forces are conducting a fighting withdrawal back to the Salerno Beachhead following their drop on Benevento, Italy. The jump was widely scattered with one plane load missing the drop zone by in excess of 100 miles. While the 575th RTF has been away conducting a hit and run guerrilla campaign, blocking roads by downing trees, cutting rail lines and blowing bridges, an element of Sea Raiders from the Brandenburger Regiment have raided Castelrozzo.

For Don and Samantha Anderson and crew, the second half of winter in Michigan is a time of healing and growth in their new community. With that comes personality conflicts and change. The Andersons’ group isn’t the only thing growing in size and strength in the area. The dog pack is, too, and all of these humans are right in the middle of their claimed territory. As their search for food begins to overlap, the frequency of encounters increases, and something has to give.

For Don and Samantha Anderson and crew, the first winter in Michigan after the EMPs is full of trouble and tough decisions, making their already difficult reality even more challenging to endure. Don finds himself still struggling with nightmares of what he and his group did to defend themselves in the past. Their search radius for food and supplies continues to grow, eventually leading them to the abandoned town of Frankenmuth, Michigan. What they find there, is not at all what they expected!
