Jaden and the Free Seekers won the battle in God’s Bowl and destroyed Devourer’s infernal machine to manipulate the worlds. Now Devourer has destroyed the ancient city of Marleborn, a center of resistance to the Empire, by spreading the plague of Noon Wraiths. Headmaster has also gone missing while on his own mission to destroy another of Devourer’s machines. If he has been captured or killed, it could lead to the Hidden City’s location being revealed to Devourer, putting the rebellion in danger.

I understood I was an outcast, an introverted gamer nerd with a system of avoiding anything that breathed. But that was because I had a pretty horrid past, one involving wolves ripping through my parents at the dinner table when I was four. Much like what is happening right now… As I said, I have minimal experience socializing with people. But when a bunch of guys from school randomly decide to chase me down park lines and turn into a pack of wolves, I start to think that maybe my social skills aren’t the problem.

Starting college was already exciting enough, but then I found a portal in my dorm closet. This portal led to a fantastical world full of monsters, magic, dungeons, and the ability to level up my attributes, weapon, and armor stats. Speaking of weapons and armor: the best part of this new world is the enchanted weapons and armor I found that turned out to be beautiful women. I’m on a quest to find out who cursed these women, but in the meantime, I’m going to kill a bunch of monsters, get paid in gold, and try not to get kicked out of college as I make myself rich.

Uncle Bann brought me in and showed me that I could have it all: a family, a home, and a pack to call my own. At first, I didn’t think I could rise to the challenge, but I’d beaten the Alpha of the Moonlight Wolves and was well on my way to conquering the rest of these local packs—until the night of my victory when my greatest enemy took it all away: the Lotus Wolves.
