It’s the most magical time of the year... for Harper and Zander, that is. Not Christmas, mind you, but Halloween. That’s right, Whisper Cove’s favorite ghost-hunting duo are decking out their house for their favorite holiday - and they’re only mildly fighting while doing it. All that comes to a screeching halt when Harper notices her neighbor acting odd and realizes he’s dead... leaving nothing but a cranky ghost and a lot of questions behind.

The dog days of summer are here and the heat isn't the only thing oppressing the populace in Whisper Cove. No, it seems that feelings - the big "L" word, to be exact - are weighing heavily on Harper Harlow and Jared Monroe. Both halves of Whisper Cove's favorite couple are both desperate and terrified to say it.

Harper Harlow is going on vacation. Sure, it’s not the romantic trip she was envisioning with her fiancé Jared Monroe - especially since her best friend Zander is acting as a third wheel when it comes to the long-planned cruise - but it’s a break from the weather and a chance for fun in the sun. Rowan Gray is excited. She and her boyfriend Quinn Davenport are getting closer to solving a personal mystery, which plays into her paranormal past, and she’s simply happy doing her job on the bounding storm for the next few days.

It seems Phantoms, one of the most popular shows on the Independent Ghost Hunting Network, is interested in doing a location shoot at Ludington Asylum, which just happens to be located on a small island near Whisper Cove. Since childhood, Harper Harlow has been infatuated with the story of a crazy doctor gone rogue and the resulting investigation that found numerous missing patients (but no bodies) at the former institution. Producers want to feature Harper and Zander on their show, and Zander is happy to oblige despite Harper's reticence.

Life in the French Quarter is about to calm down for the off-season, so of course things in Ofelia Archer’s life are about to heat up. With Halloween right around the corner, all Ofelia wants to worry about is what couple’s costume she and her boyfriend Zach Sully are going to wear to the big reunion party being hosted for her former high school. Then the unthinkable happens and she senses Sully is in danger when he’s out on a case. Ofelia swoops in, the mightiest witch in the French Quarter, and finds herself saving the love of her life shoulder-to-shoulder with his father.

When Rowan’s friends Sally and Demarcus arrive on their new purchase, a vintage steamboat they want to refurbish so they can turn it into a floating restaurant and casino, Rowan and her husband, Quinn, are thrilled to reunite with them. That only lasts until their daughter, Lana, asks about the invisible children on the boat. It seems there are a lot of them, and they just might be dead.

There’s a killer on the loose and a poltergeist locked in a lighthouse. Are the two things connected? Harper is determined to find out, even if she has to ask for help from a witchy friend to get her answers. Magic is might, and Harper’s group has magic on their side. Survival isn’t a given, however. Everybody is going to have to work together to solve this one, and even then, the answers might be more than anybody can bear.

Harper Harlow is ready to move forward with her business, which just so happens to include taking ownership of the beleaguered Whisper Cove Cemetery. She and her partner Zander Pritchett have big plans...until the day they close on the property and discover a body on one of the well-worn pathways.

There’s a dark shadow hanging over the French Quarter, and Ofelia Archer is constantly looking over her shoulder because of it, waiting for the enemy to strike. While searching for one enemy, however, she finds another. On what was supposed to be a relaxing day on the riverwalk, a knife-wielding man tries to take out a street performer and chaos ensues. Ofelia manages to disarm the assailant, but when he’s being loaded into a police cruiser he explodes - literally - releasing a wave of magic that knocks down everybody in Jackson Square.

Harper Harlow’s romantic life is perfect, her wedding is in the works, and now she’s decided to enhance her business standing by attending a haunted campground opening. If she enjoys herself, publicly endorses it and the owner, then she’ll open up a brave new world. Unfortunately for Harper, old ghosts die hard and a fresh murder taints what is supposed to be a quiet weekend.

Ofelia Archer is living the dream...or as close as seemingly possible. She owns her own business, her father seems to be on an even keel, and her new relationship with detective Zacharias Sully is cruising right along. Everything changes in an instant, though, when screams from the street lead to zombies running amok through the French Quarter. Ofelia is a tough witch who takes no guff but even she is at a loss. Who is creating the zombies? Where are they coming from? They’re not rising from the dead as much as being bumped off and used as an invading army.

Things take a turn for the worse when one of those break-ins results in the death of a local barber. It seems what was once written off as teenage hijinks is something else entirely. In addition to the break-ins, Harper finds herself distracted by a new resident. He’s bringing an art gallery to town...as well as his troubled sister.

For years, Rowan Gray has been searching for answers. She’s finally going to get them. The group of people haunting her, the society that ripped her family apart, are due to arrive on the bounding storm...and nobody believes their goals are altruistic. That’s only proven true when death visits the bounding storm in their wake, leaving a mountain of questions and not enough answers. Who are these people? What do they want?

Her father may be back in her life but things are hardly smooth sailing for Rowan Gray. He faked his death to get away from a group of people investigating psychic abilities - a group he is convinced is still out to get him - and he’s positive the group want his daughter for the same nefarious reasons. Rowan is simply happy to have him in her life. She gets to spend time with him and her uncle and plot for a future they might never have.

Ivy Morgan and Jack Harker don’t have many complaints. Things are good, life is quiet, and the only big thing on their to-do lists is picking a date for their wedding. Which is exactly what they’re doing when a local celebutante approaches with an offer for Jack to be on a dating show. He turns her down flat and goes on his way, but the next morning, she’s found dead and the list of suspects is endless thanks to the production landing smackdab in the middle of Shadow Lake.

Rowan Gray is a bundle of nerves. She’s waiting for word on her father - a man who supposedly died 10 years before - and the only thing that can shift her focus is a fraught rescue at sea, one that forces The Bounding Storm to evacuate a group of oil rig workers during a tumultuous storm. When one of the workers ends up dead - an individual who wasn’t listed on the manifest - Rowan Gray and Quinn Davenport are thrust into a fresh adventure...and it’s one that’s likely to have dire consequences.

Rowan Gray has a lot on her mind. Between her uncle dropping a bomb about the father she believed dead actually being alive and a mountain of feuding cheerleaders descending on The Bounding Storm, Rowan can’t quite seem to get a handle on her emotions. She has a job to do and opts to focus on that rather than her missing uncle - which is the professional thing, of course - but her mind is a busy place to visit. When the infamous omen pops up, it seems one of the warring cheer coaches is in trouble. Rowan dedicates herself to finding who might have murder on the mind.

Harper Harlow has ghosts coming out of her ears. Between her regular jobs at Ghost Hunters, Inc. - and the secret her best friend Zander appears to be keeping - she has her hands full. Things only become more complicated when one of Whisper Cove's oldest residents comes knocking on the police department's door. It seems Annette Fleming decided to do some cleaning and while in the attic she found some photographs of a dead body, and she has no idea who the victim is or when she died.
