Morgans Leben ist alles andere als einfach. Aufgewachsen auf den Straßen von Stadt Vier wird er von den anderen Bürgern ständig gemieden. Das stört ihn kaum–was ihn allerdings sehr wohl stört, sind die ständigen Prügel der Stadtwachen wegen seiner Freundschaft zu Sarah, der einzigen Tochter des Stadtherrn. Lord Simon, der Stadtherr, will ihn tot sehen, doch die Gesetze des Königreichs stehen auf Morgans Seite. Selbst die Wachen würden ihn nicht töten, nur weil er sich in der Nähe des Herrenhauses blicken lässt.
