In this series, Ouija Board Magick, we will discuss the various ways of communicating with the spiritual world. Each volume will contain one class of spiritual beings. Many magickal texts have been written around the Watchers, and I am hoping to add my two cents to the discussion. Several decades ago, I worked with the Watchers. Aside from the rituals of course, we will be covering the basics of the Watchers' story as it is understood in Genesis since it is there that the first inkling of the story emerges in the scriptural tradition. Also, some texts exist that predate Genesis that contain a proto-Watchers narrative. Some of these early stories have some connection to Ancient Mesopotamia.

Belial is, by far, one of the most popular demons in occult lore. He is second only to Satan, and in some circles, he is Satan himself. We all take the occult texts as gospel and assume that what we find is all there is regarding Belial.

Tiamat is truly the mother goddess of every creation. Through the darkened and treacherous hallways of myth, her image emerges at every turn. In some traditions, she is leviathan from the Bible with a masculine energy. In others, she is the mother of chaos and void such as in Mesopotamian myth and the Book of Enoch. She is all those things and everything in between. She is found in every corner of mankind’s spiritual endeavor. She is the water that gives us life.

A few books exist on Asherah so I am going to jump in and add my two cents. I found the others to be rather complex. I will do my best to deconstruct it all in this book, but for the sake of brevity I can't go too deep. Like all my books, I will cover the texts and history. I have many old notes that I will clean up and present here.

If you have read my other books, you know that I like to take complex ideas and break them down so they become accessible to all who read it. I will attempt to do so in this book as well. I have always resonated with the Eastern paths and like my work with the Occult, I found that all these teachings are so very technical and complex. If you know me, you know that I think complexity is never a sign that the underlying teaching is effective or any good for that matter.

Many people have asked me over the years if I use the pendulum. The answer, in short, is yes. I use the pendulum quite often and have used it for over 15 years. I have used it to glean information from the most mundane topics from the color of the tapestry on my walls, to which entities I should use for a particular ritual. In fact, I used it regarding the publication of this book. I had the intention of writing this book last year, but through pendulum work, I gleaned that last year was not the right time. Now, it is.

Welcome to the second installment in the Baal on Buddhism series in which I take complicated Buddhist topics and make them approachable to all.
