Getting stranded in Clearwater is a disaster for me. I have nowhere to stay, no money, and no friends. Then I see the now hiring sign and I start to get my hopes up. I’m a dog person. So, how did I wind up fostering fifteen cats? The answer to that is Winnie Mae. She runs the local animal shelter and when someone starts a fire there, I rescue her and the cats. When she told me that they had nowhere else to go, I volunteered to take them. Why would I do that? Well, because I’m in love with Winnie.

I can’t wait to get out of this freaking town. My friend, Dillon, and I have been social pariahs pretty much our whole lives after an incident when we were kids, and we’re both ready to start over fresh somewhere new. Kye: Sienna is perfect. She’s gorgeous and funny and always looks on the bright side. She’s my exact opposite and way out of my league. That doesn’t stop me from wanting her, from needing her.

I’ve got two missions: prove to Emerson that I’m not the jerk she thinks I am, and show her she’s safe with me—because someone’s targeting her, and I won’t let anyone hurt my mate.

Who falls in love on vacation?

Lymric: When my best friend convinced me to come visit her in Wolf Valley, I thought that maybe it would be a fresh start. I thought that it would be a chance for me to find some peace and quiet. Instead, I found Camden. Or he found me. It doesn’t matter, the outcome is the same. He says that I’m his. I say that he’s crazy. But what’s crazier, is that I’m starting to believe him.

I only hope that she’ll feel the same after she sees the real me.
