Life Bite Series. Bereavement is going to hit us all at some point in our lives. It is the one inevtiable thing that's guaranteed. How we think of death is partly due to our religion and the stilted morbid way that we have been taught about it. Yet if you believe in God then death is not that bad. If "love" was in the equation then it still existes even after death (escept in Islam where love is purely conditional).

We should be comfortable with the choices we make for the right reasons. Granted not all choices offer a simple solution and degrees of compromise come into play unless you are a dictator or a despot. Assuming you are neither then there is a very wide range of choices you can make which can seriously affect your life to make it better or not so good.

Are you as happy as you you'd like to be? Feeling satisfied with your job? Getting along well with family members? Experiencing serenity, at least some of the time? Do you think your life situation is contributing to your longevity or pushing you toward an early grave? Nothing is more critical to the quality of our lives than our relationships, and nothing is more critical to our relationships than how we communicate.

'Coming Out' for many people is or can be a fearful task. For some it's not a problem. Whichever side you find yourself on you don't want to live in the closet; you have a right to be who you are and you definitely don't need anyone's permission to be you. And as for those who say "It's a choice" when did they make a choice to be "straight". This and the following downloads explores and identifies who you are as a person.

Coming out, despite the possible initial impetus to do so, is one of the most liberating aspects of your life. It is you who is being you. You don't need approval or permission nor anything else. Accepting who you are in every way is not only cathartic but puts you in a strong and definable position, because it is you who has to live with yourself every second of every day.

Do you live your of life of your own accord or do you live it because others have directed you or put pressure on to you to live it in a certain way? Many people actually live a life with a constancy of saying "If I do this so and so will get upset" so they don't do what they want to do. That's not acceptable living in the footprint or fear of possibly upsetting someone else.

Similarly we need an agenda too, even if it is just something simple at the back of our mind. It's when we have negative or subversive or hidden agendas or others in their own way do that so to "use" us to further their cause.
