The situation in the galaxy is growing desperate. Every day the Vorn are harvesting world after world to be used as food for their Queens. The Vorn ships are nearly indestructible and destroying every fleet that dares to oppose them. Fleet Admiral Tolsen must lead the war to stop the Eternals from destroying the primary base of the Originators. The odds are stacked against him, and he is hopelessly outnumbered. The Eternals have decided to conquer Originator space. All that stands between them are the Originator AIs and the Humans, or at least that is what the Eternals believe. In preparation for the invasion, they begin gathering their massive warfleet. Fleet Admiral Jeremy Strong sets out to rescue Grayseth deep in Eternal territory. The rescue mission will make him realize just how dangerous the Eternals are.

Huge battles break out across the galaxy as High Prince Brollen returns with a massive war fleet of Vorn ships to harvest the entire galaxy. The fate of the galaxy rests with a council, where most do not want to become involved in a galactic war.

The war against the Kleese intensifies as the human-led Alliance attempts a daring attack against the heart of the Kleese Empire. If the mission succeeds, it will be a great victory for the Alliance. If it fails, it will mean the end of freedom for all the races of the galaxy and the end of human life.
