Turns out, I'm not on Earth. Not on another planet, either. Everything is much worse. We ended up in an inhabited Circle of an ancient Dyson sphere that replaced the Solar System six galactic turns ago. There is no moon and no stars, and giant Ygg-Trees play the role of the sun. How can this be? Nobody knows. The locals call this place Unity, and it's governed by strict laws. Here, there are ordinary people and Ascendants capable of performing miracles with the aid of Slates and Runes. There are Watchers and the legacy of the ancient Kel civilization, celestial islands and mysterious Domains.

Peter and the Wolf is a special tale that tells of a fearless young boy. It has been described as a 'symphonic fairy tale for children'. In this version, the renown Tim V of Sham 69 narrates the story while the Koln Kindestrasse Orchestra accompanies it. Now I am an Ascendant, the leader of a battle spear, and the freehold's first pilot. I am also all but immortal. That secret was revealed to me by the ancient voice who had shared my body for a long time. But why? What had happened to make me like this? And why can't I remember anything?

In the inhabited Circles of the Dyson Sphere the natives call Unity, everything is different. Time here is measured in cycles that change with the signs of the celestial calendar. The lords of Eternity must not learn who shares my body with me. But who is he, really?

Worum geht es in diesem Hörbuch? Es geht um die uralten Mysterien der Erde, auf die es geheimnisvolle Wesen von jenseits des Randes abgesehen haben. Es geht um den Schwarzen Mond, der über der letzten verbliebenen Stadt steht, und um deren Legion, die einst von den Inkarnatoren gegründet wurde. Es geht um die Besessenen, die von der Macht der urtümlichen Dunkelheit verändert wurden. Es geht um die Krieger, Verzauberer und Technomanten, die sich vor langer Zeit erhoben haben, um die Menschheit vor dem uralten Bösen zu beschützen.

Als die Trümmer des "Schwarzen Mondes" auf den Planeten Erde stürzten, ließen sie Kontinente auseinanderbrechen und überfluteten sie mit den tosenden Ozeanen. Dunkelheit senkte sich auf unsere Welt herab. Die wenigen verbliebenen Überreste der Menschheit kämpfen verbittert ums Überleben und haben dem Ansturm nichts entgegenzusetzen.

"Pierre et le loup" est un conte musical qui connaît un immense succès depuis sa création en 1936. Les instruments à cordes jouent un très beau thème qui représente Pierre, tandis que la flûte représente l'oiseau, le hautbois le canard, le basson grognon le grand-père, la souple clarinette le chat et enfin les cors le loup. Tout est bien qui finit bien dans une marche triomphale scandée par les timbales.
