I have to balance my academics with learning how to use my powers and capture more souls in more gems to grow my spell collection. All the while avoiding angry aristocrats, nosy professors, criminal mobsters, and evil dwarves bent on destroying the civilized kingdoms. Luckily, I have some handy magic, a super awesome foxgirl and the hottest elven girl in school by my side, so nothing can stop me.

Lord of the Rings + Breaking Bad + The Sopranos = Skulduggery. It’s a world ruled by elves, and they have decided that alcohol and magic is illegal for all the other races.
