Hi. My name is Ted, but all the children in the area call me "Pop Pop". I am a storyteller and songwriter, and have included two of my favorite stories in this audiobook. "Pop Pop's Pond" and "Russ the Hippopotamus" are two fun and educational stories, both inspired by my grandchildren. I hope you get as much enjoyment and entertainment from listening to this book as I have had in creating it.

It was Halloween Night and Damon was excited about trying out his new Halloween prop in his front yard next to the busy road that ran in front of his house. He was putting on the finishing touches to his new prop when some friends from school decided to drop by and check out his new prop he had been bragging about at school all day. His friends Steve, Jack and Karen rode together in the same car and pulled into Damon's driveway and watched as Damon was practicing slipping the noose around his neck.

Dan and Brenda Stevens finally planned a night out without the kids, and were able to find a babysitter at the last minute. Brenda's friend Karen's daughter Susan happened to be free for the evening because her boyfriend was sick, so instead of being stuck home all night with nothing to do her mother suggested she babysit her friend Brenda's kids, and make a little extra money. Susan was happy to earn some easy money for a couple hours.

Jenny was so excited that Mike asked her to be his girlfriend. She was a cheerleader and Mike was the star quarterback at their high school. They were so in love, and ready to get more serious, and one day get married and start a family of their own, but that dream would never come to light because of what was about to unfold that night.

Damn. My head hurt. This can't happen again. Of course, I'd said the same thing the two other times someone had used my dome for a kettledrum. But this time I'd had it. Three years in the business with no trouble and now I'd suffered five attacks in the last six months. I wasn't taking any more of it.

Although the house probably should have been lambasted as well, this shines light on the absurdity that is our government and how it does NOT work sometimes...I still really do love America really I do!
