Story0
For close to a year Harris led an extraordinary, volunteer-driven ministry that provided food, rest, prayer, and human connection to those laboring day and night on "the Pile." This book is not only a firsthand account of one of 9/11's most enduring symbols, but a deeply personal story of what happens after the cameras leave. Harris traces his journey from idealistic small-town priest to Ground Zero leader, through spiritual collapse, and finally toward an unexpected healing grounded in forgiveness.

Step into the bright, restless hour, where champagne fizzes, dreams burn hot, and the bill always comes due. This podcast brings you complete books by F. Scott Fitzgerald, delivered as audiobooks with every sentence intact: the glitter and the ache, the laughter that turns a shade too quickly into longing. Each episode draws you deeper into a world of parties and aftermaths, of love pursued like a rumor and ambition worn like a boutonnière - beautiful, fragile, and slightly bruised at the edges. Come for the dazzle; stay for the quiet truth underneath it. Press play, and let the American ...

Story0
This Side of Paradise is the debut novel of F. Scott Fitzgerald. Published in 1920, and taking its title from a line of the Rupert Brooke poem Tiare Tahiti, the book examines the lives and morality of post-World War I youth. Its protagonist, Amory Blaine, is a wealthy and attractive Princeton University student who dabbles in literature and has a series of romances that eventually lead to his disillusionment. In his later novels, Fitzgerald would further develop the book's theme of love warped by greed and status-seeking. (Summary from Wikipedia)

We assume extinction level events are cataclysmic events, but what if they were microscopic, like our history teaches us? To the rest of the world, a random tsunami is but one disaster among other events to speculate over. Unbeknownst to most of the world, the disaster is but a single ripple caused by a clandestine experiment in the South Pacific.
