It's the most wonderful time of the year! The happiest season of them all. To get back to her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry in Kansas, she must follow the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City to ask the Wonderful Wizard for help, something she couldn't do without the help of the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, the Cowardly Lion, and several other friends she meets along the way.

Times are tough in Kansas, forcing Dorothy, Aunt Em, and Uncle Henry to move to Oz. But while Dorothy gives her aunt and uncle the grand tour, the Nome King makes plans to retrieve his magic belt from Ozma.

"A Kidnapped Santa Claus" is a short story by L. Frank Baum, author of the Oz stories. In it, The Daemons of the caves, resentful of Santa Claus, who rebuffs their attempts to subvert him by temptation, capture him in his sleigh on Christmas Eve and imprison him in their caves. "The Road to Oz: In Which Is Related How Dorothy Gale of Kansas, The Shaggy Man, Button Bright, and Polychrome the Rainbow's Daughter Met on an Enchanted Road and Followed it All the Way to the Marvelous Land of Oz" is the fifth of L. Frank Baum's Land of Oz books. It was originally published on July 10, 1909 and documents Dorothy's fourth visit to Oz.

"The Marvelous Land of Oz" is the sequel to Baum's first novel, "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz". The protagonist of the novel is an orphan boy called Tip. For as long as he can remember, Tip has been under the guardianship of a cruel Wicked Witch named Mombi who lives in the northern quadrant of Oz called Gillikin Country. Mombi has always been extremely mean and abusive to Tip. As Mombi is returning, Tip plans to rebel with the help of his friends Jack Pumpkinhead and Scarecrow.

"Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz: A Faithful Record of Their Amazing Adventures in an Underground World and How, with the Aid of Their Friends Zeb Hugson, Eureka the Kitten and Jim the Cab-Horse, They Finally Reached the Wonderful Land of Oz" is the fourth work set in the Land of Oz written by L. Frank Baum and illustrated by John R. Neill. It was published on June 18, 1908 and reunites Dorothy with the humbug Wizard from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

When the Scarecrow is chased off the throne by a usurper, a small team of heroes must help him reclaim it. But is the Scarecrow the true ruler of Oz?

When a cyclone blows a young Kansas girl into the fantastical world of Oz, she helps new friends there find their purpose while she tries to find her way home.
