"Das Schloss" - Kafkas Romanfragment - wurde erst im Jahre 1926, also nach dem Tod des Autoren, veröffentlicht. In typisch kafkaesker Manier wird darin vom Landvermesser K. erzählt, dessen einzige Aufgabe im Leben die zu sein scheint, das Schloss zu erreichen - immerhin wurde er von dort bestellt.
