October 1998. Luna spends a weekend at the Grey Gull Inn, a crumbling Victorian boarding house on the coast of Maine known for its collection of amateur seascapes. On the second floor landing, a small oil painting in a tarnished frame catches her eye — a view of the rocky shore at twilight, with a single figure standing at the water's edge. She notices it every time she passes, and each time, the figure seems closer to the surf. The innkeeper claims the painting was done by a guest in 1972, a woman named Eleanor who vanished during her stay. Luna begins to track the changes: the tide line rising, the light dying, the figure's posture shifting from stillness to something like waiting. By the third night, the figure has turned to face the viewer. Luna stops looking. But the painting follows her. A quiet, slow-burn ghost story about attention, absence, and the way some images learn to look back. #TheGreyGullInn #Maine #October1998 #SeascapePainting #Eleanor #VanishingGuest #Innkeeper #VictorianBoardingHouse #RockyCoast #Twilight #FigureOnTheShore #PaintingChanges #SlowBurnHorror #GhostStory #AtmosphericHorror #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #SoloNarrated Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
