Episode Description: The Mountain Top Experience Podcast - Ep. 49 - Talkin' About Ministry

Step into the studio for a real, unfiltered conversation in Episode 49 of The Mountain Top Experience Podcast, "Talkin' About Ministry."

Join hosts Carlos, Kevin, and Dave as they pull back the curtain on what ministry really looks like beyond the platform, beyond the program, and beyond expectations. This episode is less of a lesson and more of a seat at the table. You will hear honest reflections shaped by years of experience, hard lessons, and a shared calling that has taken each of them down unique and, at times, unconventional paths.

They talk about what ministry is and what it is becoming. They wrestle with their own philosophies and how those ideas were formed. They speak candidly about the current state of ministries across the church landscape, including the pressures, misconceptions, and shifting expectations that leaders face today. You will also hear how their non-traditional approaches to ministry have been received, both embraced and misunderstood, and what that has taught them about calling, identity, and faithfulness.

Whether you are actively serving in ministry, leading others, or simply sitting under spiritual leadership, this episode offers something deeper than surface insight. It invites you to consider what ministry means from both sides of the pulpit and to reflect on how God works through imperfect people in real situations.

Pull up a chair and listen in. This is ministry, talked about honestly.

Episode Description: The Mountain Top Experience Podcast - Ep. 48 - Called to be a Caregiver with Chuck Gregory

    Episode Description:
Some callings don't arrive with clarity. They unfold before we understand why they were given.

In this powerful episode of The Mountain Top Experience Podcast, hosts Carlos and Dave sit down with Chuck Gregory, who shares a deeply personal story of love, calling, and unexpected surrender. As a young pastor serving a small church, Chuck met a volunteer youth worker from a nearby Bible college. What began as a simple connection quickly grew into a relationship, and before long, he asked her to marry him.

    Then everything changed.

Shortly before their wedding, Chuck's fiancée was diagnosed with Huntington's Disease, a devastating, mind-altering, terminal illness. What should have been the beginning of a new life together became the beginning of a calling Chuck never anticipated.

In this episode, Chuck reflects on what it means to love when the future looks different than you imagined, to serve when the cost is high, and to follow God into a role you would never have chosen on your own. His story is both heartbreaking and hopeful, marked by faith, endurance, and a quiet strength that can only come from God.

This is more than a story about caregiving. It is a testimony of calling, commitment, and the grace to walk a road few are prepared to travel.

You will be moved. You will be challenged. And you may never look at caregiving the same way again.

This is a life-changing episode you don't want to miss.
