Hunted by the fearsome tiger Shere Khan, a defenceless young man-cub is taken in by a family of wolves who name him Mowgli. Brought before Akela, the head of the wolf pack, Mowgli finds acceptance but also earns the tiger's wrath, who swears that one day the boy will be his.

With the guidance of Baloo the bear and Bagheera the black panther, Mowgli must quickly learn the ways of the jungle if he is ever to survive.

In Audible's award-winning dramatisation of Kipling's classic tale, Mowgli's fate is magically, dramatically and faithfully brought to life by a cast that features the voice talents of Richard E Grant, Colin Salmon, Bill Bailey, Tim McInnerny and Celia Imrie.

I am delighted at the content and narration of this book. I accidentally encountered this and I have enjoyed it so much that I am currently looking for more books by Rudyard Kipling. I have also done a little research into the man behind the book which I find interesting to do.

Suitable for everyone.
