In the late summer of 1987, a man named Arthur Poole drove the same dirt road every night for a week. Not to get anywhere—he lived alone at the end of it. He drove because something on Hester's Curve began waiting for him, something he first mistook for a deer in the headlights. Then he saw it stand on two legs. For six nights, Arthur kept a log of what he saw, written in pencil on the back of gas receipts. By the seventh night, he stopped writing. I found those receipts tucked inside a hollow fence post near the curve, the paper warped by rain and sun. This is what they said. And what I saw when I went back there myself, one October evening, standing on the shoulder with the engine off. #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #TheReverendsLedger #HestersCurve #ArthurPoole #DirtRoad #GasReceipts #FencePost #OctoberEvening #TwoLegs #DeerInHeadlights #LateSummer #SmallTownHorror #RuralRoad #SomethingWaiting #SevenNights #PencilScrawl #Unresolved Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
