Tech Talks with Tim: Introducing Nevada’s Public Sector Tech Podcast Nevada State CIO Tim Galluzi and GTO Chief of Communication and Policy Michael Hanna launch “Tech Talks with Tim,” an unscripted, coffee-chat podcast aimed at reaching people through a new communications vehicle beyond websites, press releases, and email. They explain the show will shed light on how government technology decisions are made, how technology impacts Nevadans’ daily lives, and will highlight technologists whose work is often only noticed during crises or cyber incidents. Planned guests include GTO team members, technology leaders across Nevada’s executive branch, municipal partners, and peers from other states to discuss shared challenges such as budgets and cybersecurity and to show Nevada is not alone. Tim and Michael introduce their backgrounds in public service and tech, invite listener feedback to drive iterative improvement, and aim to release at least a couple episodes per month.
